Ever wonder what would happen when you mix two successful entrepreneurs with bubbly personalities, a shared passion for photography, and a genuine love for giving back? For starters, you get a lot of laughs. A LOT of ideas. Levels of enthusiasm that surpass Christmas morning. And then, the ideas get even BIGGER! In many ways we are exact opposites but what instantly drew our like-minds together was the value we place on friendship, the belief that an idea can never be too big, and the standards that we set to continuously improve ourselves all the while giving back to others. From this, our first ever boutique-style workshop, RISE, was born.

MAKAYLA

In 2011, she and her husband founded The Harris Company, a photo and cinema studio based in Boston and New York offering an elevated experience to couples and entrepreneurs seeking unique story-telling imagery in destinations around the world.

With a focus on dramatic lighting, interesting architecture and authentic chemistry, Makayla's work can be found in magazines and blogs including Inside Weddings, Wedding Style, TheKnot, Style Me Pretty, Destination Bride and Rangefinder Magazine.

Her biggest accomplishments are her two adorable kids, Blake the builder and Princess Lia who are the foundation of her why and the reasons for her craziness.

As a member of the Millers speaker team, Makayla loves giving back by coaching aspiring photographers on how to find their purpose, conquer fears and reach their dreams.

Her shining moment was the day she snatched her handsome husband David atop the peaks of the Berkshires and vowed to embark on a lifelong adventure of messy memories and worldwide travels.
